Any woman who wants to become a mother should know one thing. The preparation for pregnancy has to begin at least one month before conception. A preparative period is very welcome as the physical and emotional state of a woman will deeply affect her health and that of her unborn child.
The preparation for pregnancy leads to:
- an increased and easy probability to concept a child;
- a healthy pregnancy and delivery;
- a rapid recovery after the infant’s delivery.
So, if you are interested in how a woman could improve her pregnancy and assure a better delivery of her baby, focus your attention on the following issues:
- First of all make an appointment with a qualified gynecologist.
This visit is obligatory for making your prenatal analyses (the infectious tests of a couple, vaginal discharge, colposcopic exam, etc). The expectant fathers should also make the needed exams. These tests have to be done 90-100 days prior to conceiving the baby.
- Make a visit to your dentist.
- Try to achieve and maintain the perfect weight (compared to the height you possess).
Don’t ignore this aspect as it is quite important when it comes to the baby’s health.
- Maintain a balanced food regimen!
The food you consume should be various, rich in vitamins, proteins, healthy nutrients, etc. Moreover, do not forget to drink 2 liters of water daily.
- Don’t forget about the prenatal vitamins!
A woman who is willing to become a mother should opt for products which contain vitamin B and folic acid. Those products that contain more vitamins are orange juice, beans, pasta, bread, cereals or prenatal vitamins.
An expectant mother should consume these aliments daily for overcoming and preventing abnormalities of her baby. Since the woman doesn’t provide her organism with necessary vitamins from food products, she should visit an expert for prescribing her prenatal vitamins.
Furthermore, she should find out how to overcome the anemia. Those women who are diagnosed with this problem should follow a corresponding diet and supplements of Fe in it. Expectant women should also try to reduce at minimum the consumption of caffeine, alcohol and cigarettes.
- Abstain from having hot baths or saunas.
- Establish a program of exercises allowed during pregnancy.
Sport will help you have an easy delivery and pregnancy.
-Abstain from having unprotected intercourse! Use condoms every time you engage in any sex session!
Once a woman has decided to get pregnant, it is not the high time for her to take contraceptive pills, apply patches, caps or diaphragms.
The most important thing she should ascertain is the fact that a pregnant woman faces a high risk of contamination with STDs, sexual infections and even HIV.
This is the reason why partners should thoroughly think about the protection method they should use for avoiding emotional and physical sufferings of both mother and her unborn baby.
So, be more responsible! Approach more seriously to your general health and sexual life! Use condoms, have a single sex partner and never hesitate to be a mom! Good luck!
